Hello and Welcome to AmethaWilliams.com

 It took me a long time to put together this website. Why? Because I didn't really know what I wanted to put on it. I just knew that I wanted a website that was going to last as long as I wanted it to.

I decided to purchase and create this website because I wanted a campanion website for my blog and my first website.

I had created a blog as a way to advertise my poetry over the internet hoping to spark the attention of some poetry editors and book publishers.

Then I created a website using  a free webhost to try to establish a legitimate name for myself online. Shortly after establishing my free website, I learned that these websites were not permanent and that the company could pull my site without warning.   

So I decided to purchase a website and own my own domain name from Yahoo.

It has taken me two days but I have finally created something that I can be half way proud of.

I created this site as half literary showcase and half social commentary.

Throughout the pages of this site, visitors have the ability to email me or leave comments on my page or my blog.
